Inspire Young Aviators - We want to light that spark! Our goal is to help you help young people discover the wonder of flight and the exciting world of aviation.

Keep Everyone Safe - Safety is our top priority. We are committed to making sure every presentation and program is secure, welcoming, and fun for all.

Build Trust with Schools - Schools trust us. We take that responsibility seriously and work hard to earn and keep their confidence.

Train For Success - We provide training to help volunteers and schools make smart choices when working with youth. It is all about creating great experiences while keeping everyone protected.

You will complete the following six (6) steps to volunteer with us:

Application Form - This form allows us to connect your member account and information to this program.
Youth Protection Agreement - This is part of your application and will require your signature. It helps us ensure that we are all on the same page when it comes to youth safety and support.
Hold Harmless Form - This is part of your application and will require your signature.
Media Release Form - This is part of your application and will require your signature.
Volunteer Program Training - Once the above steps have been completed, you will receive confirmation from the volunteer program manager via email to begin your volunteer program training.
Background Check - A background check is part of your application and is required for all volunteers to work with youth. Upon completion of all AOPA paperwork, you will be directed to complete a background check (and any other school-specific training requirements) for the school you are interested in working with.

Please Note: As you complete each section of the application, you will need to enter an email address which you will need to verify before continuing. A confirmation message will be sent to the email address to do this. Once verified, you will be able to proceed to the next step of the application.
