The application deadline for the current 23-24 school year is now closed.

Applications and renewals for the upcoming 24-25 school year will open in mid-November 2023. Please check back at this website periodically for updates.

To be eligible to use the curriculum, schools must meet the selection criteria as outlined on the curriculum website. Please review the criteria before submitting an application.

REQUIRED DATA

Each teacher using the AOPA Foundation Curriculum at the school will provide the AOPA Foundation with aggregated data through periodic data collection at the beginning and end of each academic term in the upcoming school year. For information about what data the AOPA Foundation collects, see the Data Reporting Requirements section of the curriculum website.

AOPA may request additional data. No personally identifying student information will be collected, nor shall such personally identifying student information be provided by the school to the AOPA Foundation.

The AOPA Foundation reserves the right to select, in its sole discretion, schools that will be allowed to use the AOPA Foundation High School Aviation STEM Curriculum.

All completed applications must be submitted online to the AOPA Foundation no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT, May 31, 2023. If all documents are not completed by this date, the school will NOT be able to use the AOPA Foundation curriculum for the 2023-2025 school year.

NOTIFICATION

Schools will be notified of their selection status and next steps in the order in which applications are received. Once all forms are received and approved, more information will be provided about curriculum access and teacher professional development.
